Convenient to everything but quiet and serene. You will enjoy being minutes away from all that beautiful Ellijay has to offer! A wrap around deck for morning or evening mountain sunsets along with covered parking for 2 vehicles. Large farmstyle kitchen welcomes you with a cozy family room with an electric fireplace at the touch of a button. A full bath with walk-in shower is also on the main level. Upstairs, you will find a large family suite with a smart TV, King Sleep Number bed, electric fireplace, full bath with shower/tub, and laundry room.
The space
This unique cabin was built in 2020. You will see modern touches yet the feeling of nature surrounds you in every room. The cabin is 1500 square feet so there's plenty of room. There are also several outdoor areas to enjoy your stay here with our wrap around deck. We also have resident bears that will mind their own business unless mama bear has any cubs with her and she feels threatened. (Warmer months only) Due to the outdoor wildlife situation, we have chosen not to have an outdoor grill. But no worries, our kitchen is fully stocked if you choose to dine in. I want to add that I realize there are extra fees associated with short term rentals. Therefore, my rates are very low to allow you and your guests a great time. With such a large home and reasonable nightly rates, why not stay with us? ☺️
Guest access
The entire cabin is yours while staying with us. Driving to our cabin is pretty simple. You can access the cabin from 2 different directions using any type of vehicle. The entire road is paved and then our driveway is gravel. The entrance door has no steps to climb and is easily accessible. Almost always, the cabin will be ready before 2 pm (unless you're checking in on a Sunday). I will let you know the cabin is ready as soon as my cabin cleaner lets me know. And if no one is there the night before, you can check-in anytime that day!
Other things to note
The cabin is very conveniently located to Hwy 515 as well as Hwy 52 East - both about 5 minutes away. The beautiful Ellijay square is about 8 minutes away or 2.8 miles. There you will find plenty of shops and excellent restaurants. The Cartecay River Experience is only 5 minutes or 2.5 miles away where you can enjoy a fun day of river tubing! Want to adventure to a state park? Amicalola Falls and Fort Mountain are both 21 miles away in opposite directions. Excellent orchards are also nearby. R & A Orchards is only 5.6 miles or 8 minutes. Beautiful vineyards also abound. Ott Farms & Vineyard is 9.6 miles away or about a 15 minute drive. As you can see, our cabin is so convenient to everything.
